Ingredients:
500g lean beef mince
1 (425g) tin butter or cannellini beans,drained and mashed well
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 onion,finely chopped
2 teaspoons mixed dried herbs
2 tablespoons parsley
1 egg,lightly beaten
4 slices reduced fat processed cheese slices,halved
spray oil
To Serve:
sliced beetroot,iceberg lettuce,soft bread rolls,toasted
Methods:
Place mince,beans,sauce,onion,herbs, parsley and egg in a large bowl. Season well and, using your hands mix to combine.Divide mixture into 8.Divide each portion in half. Flatten one half and place ½ a slice of cheese on top.Top with the other half of the patty. Shape the patty into a ball and use your Burger Mate to create final patty. Spray a non-stick frying pan with oil spray. Heat to medium and cook each patty for 5 minutes each side or until golden and cooked through.
Serve in a roll with lettuce,beetroot and tomato sauce.
